Basel, Switzerland, 1 September 2026. Maravilla Labs has started Maraestra, a research project exploring whether a language model can learn to teach: turning a described capability into a small specialist model that runs on everyday hardware. CSCS supports the training with GPU compute on Alps.

Basel, Switzerland, 28 August 2026. Maravilla Labs today opened a private preview of Maravilla Studio. Built on RaisinDB, it combines websites, events and commerce, automations and connected systems, and it treats AI agents as an interface in their own right, next to its web interface.

Basel, Switzerland, 20 August 2026. RaisinDB 0.3 lets AI assistants connect to business data over MCP while the database itself decides what they may see, records what they did and keeps credentials encrypted. On maravilla.cloud, Maravilla Connect and an AI gateway enter partner preview.

Basel, Switzerland, 30 July 2026. A regional news publisher in southern Germany is piloting an editorial application built on maravilla.cloud. It turns each local story into texts for five channels, a newsletter and a short social video with a German voice-over.

Basel, Switzerland, 12 June 2026. Applications on maravilla.cloud can now expose their own functions to AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor over the Model Context Protocol, with sign-in and permissions handled by the platform.

Basel, Switzerland, 20 May 2026. Partner organizations on maravilla.cloud can now provision their own RaisinDB tenant: a database that combines documents, graph relationships, vector search and full-text search, with Git-like branches and time travel.

Basel, Switzerland, 5 May 2026. Three months after opening maravilla.cloud to partners, Maravilla Labs has added the services most applications need beyond hosting: realtime, user authentication, durable workflows, queues, push notifications and media processing.
